Flip is renowned as one of the first Brazilian street artists to work without words, using characters, posters and stickers to develop his distinctive style.

Expressing his huge affinity with nature, Flip works with it not only aesthetically but literally, often painting on native Brazilian wood which provides a rich and unique texture to his work. His ongoing fascination with the natural world extends to its relationships and parallels with human nature, with his characters displaying characteristics of both to beautiful effect.

Flip has a strong following in his native Brazil and has exhibited worldwide, most recently with a solo show in LA. He also exhibited at the Embassy of Brazil in London, at their request, in May 2008.
